Wright Looks Like a Long Shot

The high-scoring guard from Texas, Bracey Wright, is at the Nike Camp and generally indicating to the press that he's pretty certain where he's going to college. Here's what he told us...

Bracey Wright, 6-2 SG, The Colony (Tex.) High, has been playing well at the Nike Camp, showing a real scorer's mentality, good quickness, and a nice-looking, consistent outside jumper.

When asked about his recruitment, Wright is pretty clear about where he stands. "Indiana is my leader," he said. "And I'm also considering UCLA, Tennessee and Kentucky."

There are many reports that have Wright sold on Indiana and close to committing. "I have a pretty good idea of what I want to do," Wright said.

Does that mean he would commit to the Hoosiers without taking any official visits? "I'm confident I'll make a decision without taking any official visit. I'll probably take one visit, to the school I'm going to. If there is any way I'm not sure, though, if I'm still undecided, I might take some trips. But I think when I commit I'll just take that one trip."

Wright said there really is no time frame for when that decision will be announced. "I just want to be in the right state of mind. I want to know that I'm doing what's right, what's right for me. That could come soon or it could be a while. But I'm feeling pretty good about everything right now, so I don't know."
