Poutasi Has Two Visits in Mind

Jeremiah Poutasi, the 6-5, 320-pound offensive line prospect from Las Vegas, has two schools he knows he'll visit officially, and then will decide from a long list on the other three visits...

Las Vegas (Nev.) Desert Pines offensive tackle Jeremiah Poutasi has enjoyed the ride of recruiting, but has a timeframe in mind for when he wants to decide.

"Everything is going great with recruiting," said Poutasi. "I want to commit before the season ends."

Poutasi said he doesn't have a leader, and hopes to have some finalists named soon.

"I don't have any favorites right now, but I am about to narrow down my list," said Poutasi. "I'm trying to get it to a top 10 by the end of the summer."

Poutasi did say that two Pac-12 schools are locks to be in his final group.

"UCLA and Utah will definitely be on there," said Poutasi.

While he hasn't taking any unofficial visits this summer, and his only major camp during the summer was the B2G Elite Camp at UCLA, he'll be busy this fall.

"I'm going to take my visits this fall before the season ends," said Poutasi. "And I'll take all five of them."

The 6-5, 320-pound Poutasi said the rest of his visit list will come from the other schools that have offered, which includes Arizona, Arizona State, Boise State, Fresno State, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico State, Oregon State, San Diego State, SMU, UNLV, Utah State, Vanderbilt, and Washington.

Academically, he has a 3.2 and took the SAT earlier this spring.
