As of Saturday, USC had not offered Rachal and he had said recently that if the Trojans did, he could commit. UCLA hasn' offered he big OL yet either.
Rated as the #2 offensive linemen at the Los Angeles Nike Camp in April, Rachal again showed why he is highly regarded at the recent Nike Combine, standing above all the other offensive linemen there, thanks to excellent technique and great footwork.
"My technique is something the college coaches tell me they like," Rachal said. "I could play offensive tackle in college, or guard or even center, cause I have the technique down."
While USC is clearly in the lead for his services, he did have good words for UCLA.
"They are close to home and I like Coach Embree. I am going to weigh my options though, and go wherever I see the best fit and not make the decision to fast. But SC is my leader right now."
Rachal also wants to continue his Nike Camp excellence, with plans to head to the Nike Camp at Stanford in May.
He has a 2.9 GPA and will take the ACT in June
