"N.C. State was probably the most in depth one," Jefferson said. "I got to meet the coaches, which is great. It's one thing to see them at your games, but when you're actually on the campus and get to talk to them about the school, it's much better.
"The Temple visit wasn't very long. I actually went by myself for about half a day. It was definitely a good visit. I like Temple; it's close to home and somewhere I can get to really quickly."
In California for the Boost Mobile Elite 24, Jefferson hoped to take a couple more trips while in the state.
"Hopefully I'll get looks at UCLA and Stanford when I'm out here," he said. "We've been talking to UCLA and are hoping to get on the campus to learn more about the school. (Stanford) Coach (Johnny) Dawkins is a great guy and if we got the chance to see the campus it would be wonderful. It would be great to learn more about it."
As for officials, Jefferson has one planned and is working with another school to set a date.
"We set up an official to Ohio State and I'm looking to set an official to UConn next," he said. "I believe Ohio State is on the weekend of the 23rd.
"I definitely love the way they play; it's just a great program on the court and off the court. It's a great school. Talking and getting to know coach (Thad) Matta has been good and I know they've been good in the past."
Jefferson isn't in any rush to make a decision, as he wants to take his visits and make sure the programs have exactly what he's looking for.
"I'll take my visits and go from there," Jefferson said. "Hopefully I can narrow it down to a top five; that would make it much easier to decide. I'm just so far out. Hopefully after visits I'll have a better feel for everything.
"I'm looking for comfortability. That's why I've taken so long. Somewhere I fit in with not only the coaches and players but the school. I want to get to know everyone I can, even people like the A.D. I want it to be somewhere that everyone is on the same page and somewhere I can come in and make an impact."
