Judge Still Favoring Two

San Diego (Calif.) receiver Eric Judge is favoring a pair of in-state schools, one which he'll visit officially in December...

San Diego (Calif.) athlete Eric Judge (6-1, 175), is still sitting on three offers, from Air Force, San Diego State and UCLA, but thinks more could be on the cusp.

"I'm waiting for some others once the season starts," said Judge. "Cal and Oregon have both talked to me about maybe offering."

In the meantime, two in-state schools, San Diego State and UCLA, lead for Judge.

"Between the two, I'd say that San Diego State leads more because all of my family is here and I'm familiar with all my surroundings," said Judge. "I like UCLA but I'm not sure with Coach (Rick) Neuheisel if he's staying or not."

Judge should have a better perspective on UCLA's coaching situation when he takes his first official visit in December, to Westwood.

The three-star receiver said his recruitment is strictly as an offensive playmaker.

"I play a little corner and a little safety, but I'll play receiver in college," said Judge.

This weekend, Judge and his San Diego teammates will open with Calexico.
