Jacobs Will Wait Out Things

Arroyo Grande (Calif.) safety Seth Jacobs will take all five trips and decide on Signing Day...

Arroyo Grande (Calif.) safety Seth Jacobs (6-2, 210) will take one visit during the season, but based on his home's location, that will be eat during the year.

"I've just set up the Arkansas visit for when they play South Carolina," said Jacobs. "The rest I‘ll take them all after the season and no more officials during the season. Its not convenient how far we are to take them during the season."

The Razorbacks are doing well for Jacobs, who has a number of offers, and he's also seriously interested in a number of Pac-12 schools.

"For the most part, all the Pac-12 schools I'm interested in as of now, along with Arkansas," said Jacobs. "With some schools, I'm going to see how their seasons go. I'm not in any rush to decide so I can see how their seasons go. As the season goes along, I can begin to narrow things down."

Jacobs was able to check out Arizona State, Cal and UCLA during the spring and summer.

Where he'll play remains to be seen.

"It's a mix, because a lot of the Pac-12 schools see me as a linebacker, but a lot see me as a safety as well," said Jacobs.

Jacobs will wait out as long as possible to make a decision.

"I'll choose closer to Signing Day and then announce on Signing Day," said Jacobs. "I'm not going to announce until then but I'll know before then."

The four-star and his Arroyo Grande team open their season this week against Lompoc.
