Hooker Waiting Out Process

Fontana (Calif.) A.B. Miller linebacker Reshawn Hooker was close to pulling the trigger with a decision, but is now in no rush...

Fontana (Calif.) A.B. Miller linebacker Reshawn Hooker (6-2, 200), thought about making an early decision, but at this point, he'll go through things before making a choice.

"I think I want to take all of my visits," said Hooker. "I know I want to visit Boise State, Colorado and Arizona. I'm also thinking about visiting Purdue and Oregon State."

UCLA has also offered Hooker but he's not planning to visit the Bruins, despite them being in his top five.

"I've been there for their camp and it's close by so I probably won't take an official there."

Joining the Bruins in his top five are Boise State, Arizona, Colorado and Oregon State.

"I haven't set up any visits but I'm planning to do those pretty soon," said Hooker.

Academically, he's squared away with a 3.5 and scored a 1460 on the SAT.

This weekend, A.B. Miller takes on Lakeside of Lake Elsinore.

Editor's Note, from WildcatAuthority.com: Hooker was thought to have been close to committing to UCLA, but now it appears that he will take some visits, including one to Arizona. There is little reason to believe that the Bruins are still not in the driver's seat for Hooker. If Hooker does take his visits, it is possible that the recruitment changes. However, we are still of the belief that UCLA is going to be very difficult to beat.
