Several Offers for 2013 DB Cravens

Murrieta (Calif.) Vista Murrieta 2013 safety Su'a Cravens adds three BCS offers over the weekend and UCLA is still in the mix for one of the top prospects in the junior class...

Murrieta (Calif.) Vista Murrieta safety Su'a Cravens, one of the top 2013 prospects in the West, had a good weekend.

It started Thursday when Purdue offered in the morning and then Notre Dame offered in the evening.

It continued on Sunday when a new Pac-12 offer came in.

"Stanford offered me," said Cravens. "It's my 14th."

The Cardinal join a list that includes Arizona, Arkansas, Boise State, Colorado, Hawaii, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Pittsburgh, Purdue, UCLA, Utah State and Washington.

And with all the recent talk about the Pac-12 potentially expanding again, that has caught the eye of Cravens.

"If Oklahoma joins the Pac-12, that really makes them appealing to me," said Cravens.

Still, the junior said he is wide open at this point.

"It's still to early for me," said Cravens.

Schools like Cravens as a safety and as an outside linebacker, where he's likely growing into the position.

"It's half and half, but it doesn't matter to me," said Cravens. "I like safety because you can move all over but at linebacker, you're always in the play."

Vista Murrieta, ranked #14 in California by GoldenStatePreps.com, opens its season this Friday with Etiwanda.
