Compton (Calif.) Dominguez defensive end Damion Turpin (6-3, 245) is favoring a host of Pac-12 schools, hoping to follow up on a dream of his since he first started playing football.

"I always wanted to play in the Pac-12," said Turpin. "I grew up watching those schools."

Turpin said the majority of his interest, and most of his offers, comes from the newly expanded conference.

"It's mostly Pac-12 schools I hear from," said Turpin. "My favorites are Oregon, Washington, Cal, UCLA, Arizona and Arizona State."

Turpin said he plans to take all five of his official visits, and he's got four in mind.

"I want to take officials to Arizona, Cal, Oregon and Washington and then I'll mix it up on the fifth one," said Turpin. "I'll take an unofficial visit to UCLA since it's close."

The three-star said that SMU or Nebraska could be one of the schools that gets his fifth trip.

"I haven't scheduled any yet, but I'd like to do it during football season so I can see what the school is like during the season," said Turpin. "But I definitely want to take all five."

Dominguez dropped their opener to Crespi last weekend. They'll face Redlands East Valley this weekend.
