Beaver Figuring Out Visit Plans

The Compton (Calif.) Dominguez cornerback Brandon Beaver is looking to get his official visits scheduled while deciding when and where he'll all visit...

Compton (Calif.) Dominguez cornerback Brandon Beaver is beginning to narrow down his school list to a select few, with the official visits playing a major role in his list.

"I've kind of narrowed it down to a couple of schools like Nebraska, Washington, Arizona, UCLA and Utah," said Beaver.

The four-star knows for sure he'll be visiting two of them, and the other three remain to be seen.

"For sure I'm visiting Nebraska and Washington and I'm thinking of one to Arizona," said Beaver.

Beaver was initially scheduled to visit Nebraska last weekend when they hosted Fresno State but told Scout.com that he'll be heading to Lincoln when the Huskers host Ohio State next month.

Washington remains on the docket, though no date has been set.

"I'm thinking of one to Arizona and I might take one to UCLA and Utah," said Beaver. "UCLA is kind of close by though so I'm not sure yet if I'll visit."

Beaver favored the Bruins early on and they're still in the hunt for him.

"The defense looks a lot faster and I like the way they use tall corners," said Beaver.

Nebraska and Washington have both impressed him too, thanks largely to their respective head coaches.

"I really liked Coach (Bo) Pelini at Nebraska and Sark (Washington coach Steve Sarkisian) is raising the program," said Beaver.

Dominguez has stumbled out of the gates with an 0-2 start, but look to right the ship this weekend when they take on crosstown rival Compton.
