JC Football: Top Defensive Linemen

This year has seen quite a few JC defensive line prospects get off to fast starts and today we take a look at just a few of the names to keep an eye on, including a UCLA commitment...

Diablo Valley DE Morgan Breslin - The UCLA commitment has been outstanding so far this season, leading the state with four sacks while also contributing 13 tackles with six tackles-for-loss.

Feather River DE Emilious Davis - In two games this season, Davis has been all over the field, posting 28 tackles, 4.5 tackles-for-loss and 1.5 sacks from his defensive end spot. Expect schools to start giving him a longer look as the season moves along.

Cerritos DE Alauna Finau - The Falcons have struggled early this season, getting out to a 1-2 start, however, don't blame that on Finau as he's done everything he can to keep opposing quarterbacks from feeling comfortable. In addition to his 11 tackles, 4.5 tackles-for-loss and 2.5 sacks, Finau has also registered six quarterback hurries. He will be heavily recruited over the coming months.

West LA DT Kevin Laudermill - One of the top interior defensive linemen in the state of California, Laudermill has been outstanding so far this year, posting 15 tackles and a sack. UCLA is recruiting.

Itawamba DT Tim McAdoo - Last week McAdoo was unstoppable, posting 4 tackles and 2.5 sacks from his interior spot.

Copiah-Lincoln DT Derrick Billups - Posted 10 tackles and blocked a punt in Co-Lin's loss to Hinds last week.

East Mississippi DE Denico Autry - There is a reason Autry is coveted by schools across the country. All he did last weekend in East Mississippi's 45-42 win was post 11 tackles and 11 hurries.

Holmes DE Bobby Hill - Hill has gotten off to a fast start with Holmes, posting 17 tackles and leading the state of Mississippi with 3.5 sacks.

Nassau DE Bryan Johnson - The athletic defensive end has been outstanding so far this season, posting 15 tackles and two sacks from his weakside end position.

Pasadena DT Pone Faleofa - In three games, Faleofa has posted 10 tackles, three tackles-for-loss and three sacks while helping lead them to a 2-1 record.

Golden West DE Michael Maguire - The Rustlers are 2-1 and Maguire's pressure on the QB has been a big help. The talented freshman has 13 tackles, three tackles-for-loss and three sacks so far this season.

Butler DE Bruce Campbell - The freshman defensive end has been a monster for the Grizzlies already this season, posting 13 tackles and five sacks.

Butler DE Demarcus Lawrence - While Campbell has brought the heat from one side, Lawrence has been a terror on the other, posting 29 tackles, eight tackles-for-loss and five sacks for the Grizzlies.

Blinn DE John Gandy - Gandy has been all over the place for the Bucs, posting 20 tackles and three sacks in four games.

Snow DT Tenny Palepoi - Only a freshman, Palepoi has been a monster for the Badgers posting 13 tackles, three tackles-for-loss and two sacks.

ASA DE Anthony Talley - The freshman edge-rusher has been solid this season posting eight tackles and three sacks in spot duty for ASA.

Iowa Western DE Cory Morrissey - Morrissey has been a force in his freshman season, posting 17 tackles and 3.5 sacks for the Reivers who are off to a 4-0 start.
