"We know we have a pretty strong team, but we just put it aside and play the game and try not to focus on the streak, but just to win," Glasper said.
Last weekend at the Stanford Nike Camp, Glasper had a strong showing. He clocked a 4.34 forty, good for the third best time at the camp, jumped 34.2 inches, had 16 reps in the bench and timed an incredibly fast 4.83 shuttle. He also had a good showing in the drills.
Glasper is getting recruited primarily as a cornerback, and it's his top position, though he could play running back also. "I may play some running back this year, but CB is my best position and where I will play in college."
With former teammate Maurice Drew heading to Westwood, Glasper says Drew occasionally talks about him following Drew to UCLA. "Yeah, he talks about it once in a while, but he knows its up to me."
For the time being, though, Glasper is preparing for his senior year, and another CIF crown for the Spartans, as well as another perfect season, and of course, another year of people taking shots at DLS. "We know what people say about us. Everyone talks about us, but we can't worry about that, we have to just go out and play, and focus on winning each game."
Glasper has a 2.3 GPA and scored a 900 on his SAT, but is planning to take it again, as well as the ACT, in the fall.
