Kafovalu Taking Time Till Decision

Riverside (Calif.) Arlington defensive lineman Samson Kafovalu (6-4, 250), isn't in any hurry to make a decision on where he'll play.

Kafovalu has seven offers and will start setting official visits up in the weeks ahead.

"My offers are the same, Colorado, Arizona, Nevada, Washington, Idaho, Washington State, Oregon State and UCLA," said Kafovalu. "I haven't taken any visits yet. I had to get cleared with the NCAA Clearinghouse and I'm all good now."

Kafovalu said he's got four visits that he'll definitely take officially.

"I'm going to visit Colorado, Washington State, Arizona and Idaho," said Kafovalu. "I don't think I'll visit UCLA officially because I can drive there."

Kafovalu said he's still hearing from a couple other Pac-12 schools that could offer him later in the fall.

"Arizona State and USC could be offering me, because I know they're taking a look at me," said Kafovalu.

Kafovalu, though, said no leader has emerged.

"Honestly, my favorites are the eight schools that have offered me," said Kafovalu.

Kafovalu said that the majority of schools are recruiting him with the mindset he'll move inside in college.

"I play mostly end, but all the schools want me to put on some weight and play tackle," said Kafovalu. "That's cool with me, I just want to play."

This week, Arlington faces Riverside Poly in their final non-league game.
