Chula Vista (Calif.) Mater Dei offensive tackle Nico Siragusa (6-6, 300), is sitting on nine offers halfway through his senior year.

"Oregon State offered me three weeks ago and that was my latest offer," said Siragusa.

The Beavers joined Colorado, Fresno State, New Mexico State, San Diego State, San Jose State, SMU, UNLV and Washington State in offering the three-star.

"UCLA and Oregon are hot on the trail too and I think one of them could be offering me real soon," said Siragusa. "I talk to Coach (Tim) Hundley all the time and I was hoping to go to the Texas game but I'm going to go to another one."

This weekend, Siragusa will take his first official visit, to Fresno State.

"I'm going to Fresno State this weekend, and then I'm going to Colorado and San Diego State in December," said Siragusa. "I'll leave the last two visits open in case UCLA and Oregon offer me. If not, then I'll visit somewhere else."

Siragusa said his top four schools include schools that have offered.

"My top four are Colorado, Fresno State, SMU and Washington State," said Siragusa.

Siragusa said that schools are recruiting him as an offensive linemen, and haven't specified a position for him.

"I haven't gotten too in-depth with the coaches to know what I'm going to play," said Siragusa. "I'll play either spot, as long as I get to play offense."

Siragusa said he's got an ideal time-frame for a decision.

"I'm thinking I'll decide in late December or early January," said Siragusa.
