Long Beach (Calif.) Poly linebacker Matthew Rowe has added some new offers to the mix, including a local one, despite his summertime commitment to Arizona State.

"UCLA offered me last week," said Rowe. "I'm pretty excited to get some new options. My options are always open, I just like ASU the most."

Rowe said that he's still committed to the Sun Devils, but he plans to take some official visits.

"I am definitely going to take some visits, I just don't know when I'll take them," said Rowe. "I'll probably do them after the season. I know Arizona State I'll visit for sure, but I'm not sure yet who the other ones will be.

Rowe said that UCLA offensive coordinator Mike Johnson gave him the offer.

"Coach Johnson called me and said they liked me and they want me to play linebacker for them so that was cool," said Rowe.

Rowe said several other Pac-12 schools have been keeping tabs on him as well.

The Jackrabbits are 4-1 as they're now entrenched in Moore League play.

"I'm coming off an injured knee but it's all good, I only missed two weeks and I'll be back when we play Lakewood," said Rowe.
