Bruins Try To Stay In for Poutasi

The four-star lineman from Las Vegas, Jeremiah Poutasi, will visit UCLA but the Bruins have some ground to make up...

Las Vegas (Nev.) Desert Pines offensive tackle Jeremiah Poutasi took his second official visit last weekend, tripping to Utah.

"It was great," said Poutasi. "I loved it. Jeremiah Tofoaiono was my host. Everything and everybody on the trip stood out to me. And the enviorment is really awesome."

Poutasi got to see the Utah campus and facilities and liked what he saw.

"They were really great, I loved everything about the campus and their facilities and stadium," said Poutasi.

Poutasi had previously visited Arizona State, and there was some consideration given to committing to the Sun Devils, but Poutasi said that the Utes have now taken a major step.

"My head is leaning towards Utah," said Poutasi.

But he's not close to making a decision.

"I'm going to take a few more trips before deciding," said Poutasi. "I'm going to probably visit UCLA and Hawaii and I'm not sure with the other one."

He also has a time frame in mind for when he'd like to decide.

"I want to decide in December," said Poutasi.
