Butch Pauu, Servite's star linebacker, helped the Friars defense control the Lancers, and win the Trinity League contest. His cousin Mana ran for 77 yards on 16 carries but it was about the Friars defense in this one. Pauu had double-digit tackles and an interception in the win.

Crespi's Chris Harper, whom UCLA is watching closely, scored midway through the fourth quarter to give the Celts a 28-24 lead and Crespi held on against Serra League rival Notre Dame. 2013 quarterback Kelly Hilinski threw a touchdown pass in the loss for the Knights.
Long Beach Poly def. Lakewood, 38-21
It was a close game, for a half, before the Jackrabbits did to Lakewood what the Jackrabbit always seem to do to the Lancers- wear them down in the second half. UCLA recruit Richard Smith finished with eight catches for 102 yards and a touchdown and Smith and UCLA recruit Randall Goforth helped shut down UCLA target Darius Powe and Oregon State commit Malik Gilmore in the second half.
Gardena Serra def. Los Angeles Cathedral, 40-0
With Cathedral quarterback Hayden Rettig sidelined with a knee injury, Serra's defense, featuring UCLA commit Raymond Ford, had four sacks, three interceptions and a fumble recovery in its third shutout of the year. Ford caught three passes for 61 yards and had numerous pass breakups in the win.
Westlake Village Oaks Christian def. Royal, 50-0
The Lions cruised to a 50-point win and bounced back from their first loss with a win over Royal. UCLA recruit Ishmael Adams had a 91-yard touchdown reception and five tackles and 2014 quarterback Brandon Dawkins was 24-for-32 for 389 yards and four touchdowns.
Westlake def. Simi Valley, 45-14
The Warriors showed no sign of letdown, routing Simi Valley by 31 points. UCLA commit Dashon Hunt had a huge game for the Warriors, scoring three touchdowns, one on a 55-yard interception and rushing for two touchdowns on 11 carries for 100 yards, and finishing with six tackles. 2013 quarterback prospect Justin Moore was for 13-for-25 and 124 yards and a touchdown run.
Vista Murrieta def. Temecula Chaparral, 27-10
It was the Su'a Cravens Show for Vista Murrieta, with the 2013 prospect doing it all for Vista Murrieta and keeping them unbeaten. Cravens scored the go-ahead touchdown on a reception, sealed the game with a pick-six and then forced and recovered a fumble in the final quarter for Vista Murrieta.
Bakersfield Ridgeview def. Mira Monte, 42-7
Quarterback Tyler Ferguson was the model of efficiency, going 9-for-11 for 182 yards and a touchdown and UCLA commit Shannon Edwards scored three touchdowns in the rout for Ridgeview, who've still not lost on the season.
Mission Hills Alemany def. Bishop Amat, 26-21
A strange ending, which should have ended with time on the clock and Amat with one more chance, instead ended with Amat's interception and subsequent runback draining the clock and allowing Alemany to escape with the win. 2013 prospect Steven Mitchell, who UCLA has offered, ran for 58 yards and had 91-yards receiving and scored a touchdown and UCLA commit Jerico Richardson had an interception and a touchdown in the victory.
Honolulu Kamehameha def. Honolulu Punahou, 17-10
Kamehameha avenged a loss to Punahou from earlier in the season and snapped Punahou's six-game winning streak. UCLA commit Steven Lakalaka was held to 50 yards on 19 carries after going over the century mark two weeks ago in their first meeting.
Fresno Edison def. Fresno Bullard, 57-50
2013 quarterback Khari McGee ran for 125 yards and a touchdown and passed for 327 yards and three touchdowns and five 2-point conversions to help the Tigers rally from a three-touchdown deficit and beat UCLA commit Ian Taubler and Bullard.
La Habra def. Sunny Hills, 39-0
The Highlanders defense, led by UCLA pledge Aaron Porter, cruised to a win over Sunny Hills. Porter ran for a touchdown, recorded six tackles, two for loss, intercepted a pass and recovered a fumble in the shutout.
Kona (Hawaii) Kealakehe def. Waiakea, 28-19
UCLA verbal Psalm Wooching ran for 71 yards on 13 carries and ran for two touchdowns to keep Kealakehe undefeated.
