2013 Intro: Daeshon Hall

Daeshon Hall, a promising 6-6 junior post from Seattle, gives us an early list of schools...

Daeshon Hall, 6-6 JR PF Seattle (Wash.) Garfield, is well put together and it's no surprise that he also plays football. He's got very long arms, with good feet, and he's a force around the basket.

I spoke with Hall recently and he gave me a list of schools that have been in touch with him so far.

"Washington, Stanford, UCLA, Cal, Santa Clara, Arizona, Arizona State, Washington State and Oregon State," said Hall.

When asked if he has a dream school, Hall replied "Washington, Arizona and UCLA would be my dream schools."

I asked Hall what he is looking for in a school.

"Academics are a big thing," said Hall. "I'd like to stay somewhat close so my family can see me play. Early playing time isn't really a big deal – I want to work my way in."

Hall has visited local school Washington and said he has a couple other potential visits in mind.

"I'm supposed to visit Washington State sometime soon," said Hall. "And I want to visit Santa Clara and Stanford too."

Hall said he's in no hurry to reach a decision.

"I'll probably wait until after the summer," said Hall. "I'd like to decide before my senior season."

Hall said he has a 2.9 GPA.
