"I am rescheduling the date with Oregon, but I think Oregon and California will be in December," said Buckner. "I will be going to UCLA on January 13th."
Buckner has ideal size for a defensive end at 6'7" 230lbs, but also displays an explosive quickness off the ball.
"I think that I am playing pretty well, but I don't track my stats," said Buckner. "I feel like I have made enough big plays for my team and we are in the playoffs."
Buckner's final four features programs up and down the Pac-12 standings, he talked about how much this year's record would impact his decision.
"All the schools are great," said Buckner. "It doesn't matter if they were a win or lose this year; it matters if I am comfortable there."
While Buckner is focused on his last two games and leading his team to a state title, he is looking forward to taking part in the Marines Semper Fidelis All-American game in January.
"Oh yeah, I'm excited," said Buckner. "It is the first ever Semper Fidelis game so it's a chance to start a tradition."
Buckner will play in the game in early January and make his decision sometime in that next month.
"I will probably announce right around signing day," said Buckner.
