After attending the first home game of the program that was first to offer him, Mission Hills (Calif.) Alemany defensive back Jerico Richardson made his college commitment in September.

He gave his pledge to Rick Neuheisel, but despite the Bruins and former head coach Neuheisel recently parting ways, Richardson plans to remain a Bruin.

"I'm still committed," he reports. "I didn't really expect it though, so I'm kind of surprised."

"I want to know who they hire, but I'm still going to stay committed."

For now, at least.

Richardson describes his status with UCLA as "80% committed," and says he does hope to play in Westwood next year, though other options aren't completely out of the window.

"Well, I'm still looking at other options," he admits. "I've been talking to Hawaii, Colorado, and other Pac-12 schools."

Richardson plans to take trips to Hawaii and Colorado, though his intentions remain consistent.

"In my mind, I'm going to UCLA next year," he states.
