Short Monday Practice, Video

The UCLA football team had an abbreviated practice Monday due to the rain, and interim head coach Mike Johnson talked about Bowl-Check-Gate afterward...

With the rain, practice ran for about an hour and 15 minutes. They could only work on the turf field, so they did mostly team stuff. It was, though, very hard to pass and catch the ball, so there was an emphasis on the run game.

All the same injured were out.

Coach Jim Mastro, who has taken a position with Washington State, wasn't at practice.

After the session, interim head coach Mike Johnson said that the the bowl check issue has been resolved. When asked if the checks were held up because players missed mandatory practices, he said they were "scheduled" practices.
