Ontario (Calif.) Colony cornerback Bryan Harper was set to go to Washington when Demetrice Martin, who had been recruiting him, left Washington for a job at UCLA. In the tumult that followed, Harper recommitted from Washington, and now has a new leader at the top of his list.

"My leaders are 1. UCLA, 2.Oregon, 3.Arizona and 4.Oregon State."

The defensive back lists Martin's arrival in Westwood as a big reason for his increased favorable opinion of UCLA.

"It influences it a lot, because Coach Martin has been by my side since day one, and he's been straight forward and honest through this whole process. It makes UCLA very favorable."

Right now, Harper has only spoken to Martin and Coach Mora, but is impressed with what's happening in Westwood.

"I think the new staff is going to turn things around. The buzz and energy is unbelievable for the program right now."

Harper doesn't have the exact dates of all of his visits, but knows that he will visit Oregon State on the 20th, and is planning to visit Arizona, Oregon, and UCLA at some point this month.

"I'm looking for a good environment. Good relationship with the coaches and players, and I'm just looking for the place that feels right."

Harper added that he's hoping to make his decision prior to signing day.
