WR Prospect Adrian Arrington

He's talented and has good grades, so Iowa wide receiver prospect Adrian Arrington is seeing some big-named schools on him, including UCLA. How do the Bruins stack up at this point on his list?

Cedar Rapids (Iowa) Washington wide receiver Adrian Arrington (6-3, 180, 4.5 forty), may be a Midwest product, but he is looking elsewhere for college.

"I doubt I'll go to school in state," Arrington said. "I want to go outside Iowa."

Arrington should have no problem doing that. With fifteen offers on the table, Arrington has a top four all outside the state. "My top four are UCLA, Michigan, Oklahoma and Cal, and they have all offered."

A host of schools have visited his campus, offering him the chance to play high D-I football. "A lot of schools stop by, talk to my coaches. They can't do a lot with me, but I know they are there."

Wide receiver coach Jon Embree has made the trip to Cedar Rapids. Arrington definitely knew Embree was there, and he had good things to say about him. "I like Coach Embree a lot. He's called. I've called him. He visited our campus. He also gave me my offer. Plus he's a wide receivers coach, too."

During spring break, Arrington visited the Northern California schools, seeing California and Stanford. He didn't get down to Southern California, though, but says he knows enough about the area and UCLA that he's interested.. "I know the weather is great there. It's real warm and I am ready for a change. I know how nice it is in California."

Arrington said he "definitely" plans to visit UCLA and Michigan officially, with the others to be determined later.

He currently has a 3.5 GPA and will take the ACT in June.
