Rich Considering All Comers

Portland (Ore.) Jesuit offensive tackle Max Rich is wide open in his interests...

Portland (Ore.) Jesuit offensive tackle Max Rich (6-6, 295), is another in a stellar group of offensive linemen in the state in the 2013 class.

While Rich is waiting for his first offer, a number of schools are expressing interest.

"Oregon State seems pretty close, and I'm really interested in the Pac-12, just because it's close to home," said Rich. "I'm interested in everyone really. I'm also hearing from Oregon, Stanford and Notre Dame."

Rich moved to Oregon a few years back, growing up earlier in Southern California.

"I'm originally from Glendale so I always loved USC and UCLA, so I know Los Angeles," said Rich.

Rich said he'll take his time going through the recruiting process.

"I want to go through the process a little and talk with my parents and see what I'll do," said Rich.

Rich said most schools like him as an offensive tackle.

"I'm getting recruited mostly as a tackle," said Rich. "I picture myself as more of a tackle, because I'm bigger and taller and that helps with tackle."

Brandon is in his eighth year with Scout.com and FOXSportsNext, currently as a National Recruiting Analyst and West Regional Manager. Prior to joining the Scout Recruiting Team, he was a team recruiting writer.  He's been covering recruiting for the Scout Network since 2003.
