Moore Has Good Visit to Westwood

The Fresno (Calif.) Central cornerback, L.J. Moore, talks about taking in UCLA's Junior Day on Sunday...

Fresno (Calif.) Central cornerback L.J. Moore joined a couple of his Central teammates at UCLA on Sunday for the Bruins' Junior Day.

And the four-star said he enjoyed his time in Westwood.

"It was great there," said Moore. "I loved the campus and the coaches."

Moore said he's been staying in contact with cornerbacks coach Demetrice Martin and the two spent a lot of time talking on Sunday.

"I've been really connecting with Coach Martin a lot," said Moore. "So what stood out to me was just the connection I made with him and the other coaches."

Moore also got to spend some time with head coach Jim Mora and said he came away impressed.

"Coach Mora is a real cool guy and he's a DB guy so it made it much more easier to talk with him football wise," said Moore.

Moore has had an offer from the Bruins for some time and they've long been one of his favorites.

In fact, Moore said they're heavily in the mix for him.

"They're in my top three, no doubt, with Notre Dame and California," said Moore.

Moore plays basketball for Central and said he's still in the playoffs, but he's done with Junior Days and then he'll turn his attention to playing 7on7 with DB Guru.
