5-Star Cravens: "Completely Different"

You won't find too many people who will argue over who's the top player in the West region at this early point in the winter. Athlete Su'a Cravens is a tremendous talent and he attended UCLA's Junior Day over the weekend...

"UCLA is completely different now," Cravens said. "With the coaches they have now, it feels like an NFL atmosphere there. I really liked it a lot and UCLA definitely moved up my list. I've been to UCLA before but this was my first time meeting the new staff and I really liked all those guys a lot.

"You can tell Coach Mora and the staff have a real plan for the future. I spent a lot of time with Coach Mora and the new DC, Lou Spanos, and they told me they like me for safety. That's where I want to play too. At safety, you can hold down more of the field and I like the idea of smacking receivers coming across the middle."

Cravens said his parents came on the visit as well and were equally impressed.

"They like the academics at UCLA a lot," Cravens said. "They took the tour and then all the parents got an academic presentation and they liked that a lot. I'm not ready to name a leader right now but like I said, UCLA moved up and I would say they're in my top five right now."

Cravens had previously attended USC's Junior Day and said he would like to take a few other visits in the spring and summer but is still finalizing those plans right now.
