Westwood Wows Walker

The Los Angeles (Calif.) Loyola cornerback, Cameron Walker, talks about UCLA's Junior Day...

Los Angeles (Calif.) Loyola cornerback Cameron Walker didn't have to go far to take in UCLA's Junior Day.

The quick trip to Westwood, though, was a good one for Walker.

"I didn't get an offer but UCLA was really cool," said Walker. "I really like my position coach, Coach Meat (Demetrice Martin)."

Walker said while they didn't offer, or talk much about offering, he did get a good conversation in with the coaches.

"They didn't say anything about offering but the coaches said they watched my film and liked how I played," said Walker.

Walker said he was impressed by new head coach Jim Mora.

"He was cool too," said Walker. "He seemed really enthusiastic and optimistic about the program, which is good because stuff like that makes playing for people easier and UCLA needs that plus his confidence back in the program."

Walker said he also liked the UCLA campus and facilities.

"The campus was nice and the facilities were too," said Walker.

Walker is sitting on two offers, from San Diego State and Michigan.
