Cali DT Enjoys UCLA Junior Day

Rialto (Calif.) Carter defensive lineman Kenneth Clark took in the UCLA Junior Day and said the Bruins made a very favorable impression...

UCLA made an early scholarship offer to Clark and the coaches have made the tackle prospect a high priority.

"It was great, I loved it at UCLA," Clark said. "A lot of things stood out for me but the coaches were the big thing. I feel like the coaches really care about you and they all made me feel very comfortable.

"I spent the most time with the DC [Lou Spanos] and Coach [Demetrice] Martin. I already knew Coach Martin but it was my first time talking with Coach Spanos and he seems real cool. They talked about the defense and how I would fit in. They're going to run a lot of 3-4 and they like me as an inside guy, which is where I think I fit in best as well."

Clark said he's not ready to narrow down his list and won't be making his decision for a long time.

"I don't want to announce until Signing Day," Clark said. "I want to ride through this process and weigh out all my options. I want to take all my visits and see what is out there. I'm going to do some summer camps but right now, the only camp I have planned is the USC Rising Stars Camp."

Along with the Bruins, Clark has offers from Washington and Fresno State.
