Hunt Lands Third Pac-12 Offer

Corona (Calif.) Centennial isn't just one of the top programs annually out West but nationally as well. They do a great job of getting players out and their top prospect in the class of 2013 is offensive lineman Cameron Hunt...

Cameron Hunt, as all Husky players always are, is very physical and plays with a mean streak. He's an athletic tackle who can move and does a nice job getting to the second level and making a block on a linebacker or safety. He's very light on his feet and his lateral mobility allows him to be an advanced pass blocker.

Hunt picked up his third scholarship offer on Tuesday and all three have come from the Pac 12.

"Colorado just offered me," Hunt said. "I'm pretty pumped up about that one. Colorado was actually the first school to start recruiting me so it was good to get the offer. Arizona State was my first offer and Washington State has also offered. Those have all come in the last two weeks so things are picking up.

"I'm also hearing from Missouri, Utah and USC. I was invited to USC's Junior Day and I'll also be camping with them in the summer. They told me they want to see how I look in person and if everything goes well, they could offer too and that would be huge."

In addition to camping with the Trojans, Hunt said he'll visit a few other schools as well.

"I'm going to camp with Oregon for a few days, then come back home for camps at UCLA and Stanford," Hunt said. "I'm also going to the NIKE Camp and my goal is to do well enough there to make The Opening in Oregon later in the summer.

"I'm really looking forward to these summer camps to determine if I'm an elite lineman or just a good lineman. I'm very excited for the UCLA and Stanford camps and hopefully I'll do well there. Both of those two schools are kind of like dream schools for me academically and athletically."

Off the field, Hunt is carrying a 3.95 GPA in AP classes and is an Honor Student.
