Cormier Will Take His Time

San Diego (Calif.) Madison running back Pierre Cormier picked up another Pac 12 offer on Wednesday and after hinting at a possible early commitment, the athlete said he now plans to go through the recruiting process...

Arizona is the latest offer for Pierre Cormier joining earlier offers from UCLA, Washington State, Oregon State and Boise State. The Bruins were a heavy leader for Cormier and he said he nearly committed at their Junior Day a few weeks back.

"I decided to take my time and go through the process now," Cormier said. "I'm starting to have a lot of new options and recruiting is really picking me up for me. I was leaning to UCLA and I still like them a lot but I'm going to keep my options open and see how things play out.

"I like Arizona a lot and I'm very interested in them. They have a good program and they're in the Pac 12. I like the coaching staff a lot as well. I want to try and get out there for visit in the spring or summer but I don't know if I'll be able to or not."

Cormier said he's hearing from a few other new schools as well.

"Nebraska, Washington and USC are all recruiting me now too," Cormier said. "They all seem very interested and I have interest in all of them as well. Like I said, with all the new schools showing interest, I think it's smart to play things out so I can make sure I'm making the right decision."
