Ajeigbe Visits Westwood

The Norco (Calif.) running back, Joseph Ajeigbe, talks about UCLA's Meet and Greet this past weekend...

Norco (Calif.) running back Joseph Ajeigbe was one of a handful of recruits at UCLA this weekend for the Bruins' Meet and Greet.

The 5-9, 195-pounder, has long been a of UCLA, and while he didn't make it to their Junior Day last month, he got to spend time with the coaches there this weekend.

"It was nice there," said Ajeigbe. "I liked the campus and all the coaches were pretty cool."

Ajeigbe said an offer didn't come, but he had a good conversation with Steve Broussard, the Bruins' running backs coach.

"I talked to the running backs coach, Coach Broussard, and he said he likes me and we'll see about an offer maybe around spring ball," said Ajeigbe.

Ajeigbe said the Bruin coaches want him to come to their camp during the summer.

"I'm not sure yet if I'm going to it because it's still not until June so I'll have to see where I'm at by then," said Ajeigbe. "But I'm going to be at the Nike Camp this Sunday."

Ajeigbe has his lone offer from Arizona, but said a number of Pac-12 schools are talking with him and plenty plan to come see him this spring.

Last fall, Ajeigbe took over the primary running back duties from Stanford freshman Kelsey Young and ran for 1,673 yards and 20 touchdowns with 11 catches for 231 yards.
