Coleman "Excited" For Latest Offer

Lompoc (Calif.) running back Lavon Coleman picked up offer No. 7 on Tuesday and his 6th from the Pac 12, one he's "excited" about...

Lavon Coleman, one of the top running backs in the region this year landed his most recent over from UCLA.

"I was excited to get the offer from UCLA," Coleman said. "Even though they're a local school, I really don't know a lot about them. I'm for sure interested but I just want to get to know the school and the coaches a little more.

"I talked with my coach and we're going to try and visit the campus on a Saturday. I'm not sure about any other visits right now. My main focus is on my grades and I have the SAT and ACT to worry about so that's where all my main focus is at the moment."

Coleman has also been offered by Washington, Washington State, Oregon State, Arizona, Boise State and Utah. He had a solid workout at the NIKE Camp over the weekend measuring in at a solid 5-11, 200 pounds and showing a solid burst for a power back.
