"I've been working on my lateral movement a lot and strength off the ball.My biggest strength is my pass-protection. I want to show off my pass-blocking in one on ones and show what I can do," he said.
Hinnant currently holds two Pac-12 offers and has been in contact with a few other programs.
"I have offers from Oregon State and Washington State; I think they are both great football programs and overall good schools. I've talked with Arizona State and Duke and there will be more to come, hopefully," he said.
Though he has yet to visit either campus, plans are currently in the works.
"I haven't been to the schools yet, but I'll be going in a couple of weeks to visit. I plan to visit Oregon, Oregon State, and Washington State," he said.
The Ducks' program is one that has really caught Hinnant's eye.
"Oregon said that once they get my physical attributes down, they'd make an offer. They are just an all-around beastly football program and it would be awesome to get an offer from them," he said.
As the recruiting process continues, there are a few other programs that the 6'4", 260 prospect hopes to land offers from.
"I also hope to get offers from UCLA (family and childhood favorite), TCU, Duke, and Boston College; all of those schools would be pretty cool. They all have great academic and sport programs and are just good schools," he said.
Hinnant isn't limiting himself to the West Coast, but has some criteria he's looking for in a university.
"I'm looking for good education; hopefully, they have engineering, because that's what I want to major in. I also want a good football program and a good location," he said.
