Foreman On the Rise

The Encino (Calif.) Crespi safety, Tyler Foreman, has been one of the top performers out West this spring and he plans to camp at UCLA this summer...

Encino (Calif.) Crespi safety Tyler Foreman (6-2, 195) enters the evaluation period with four offers and a few more Pac-12 schools are watching him closely.

"My offers are from Oregon State, Boise State, Arizona and Arizona State," said Foreman. "The next group I think could be offering is Colorado, Washington, Oregon and UCLA."

Foreman has been stellar this spring, earning all-tournament honors at the NLA Elite 7on7 and all-camp selection at the SoCal NFTC.

The rise he's made this spring could bode well for him.

"A lot of schools said they want to see how I'm doing in the spring and some said they just want to see me come to camp. USC and UCLA both said they want to see how I'm doing in the spring."

Foreman said that several schools are planning to come by Crespi in the coming weeks.

"I've talked to a lot of coaches and they said that they want to see me during the eval period," said Foreman. "I've gotten bigger and stronger and feel like I'm really improving."

Foreman said most of the attention is coming to him as a safety, but some schools have expressed an interest in moving him up.

"Some schools said they think I could maybe play outside linebacker," said Foreman. "But for the most part, it's been as a safety."

Foreman is hopeful more offers come through, but he's in no rush to make a decision.

"I want to wait and see how everything goes," said Foreman. "I'll sit back and wait for everything to come to me, make some visits, and then decide."

Foreman plans to continue to play on the 7on7 circuit with 1925 and also plans to camp at USC and UCLA this summer.

Academically, Foreman has a 3.1 and will take the SAT this spring.
