"Coach Marcus Arroyo from Cal offered me," said Tandy. "They offered me as a linebacker."
Tandy said the position he'll play in college still remains to be seen.
"Some schools are recruiting me as an athlete," said Tandy. "San Diego State is recruiting me as an athlete, USC is recruiting me just as a linebacker."
Tandy said a number of other schools have stopped by to check in on him and several teammates.
The versatile Tandy has played a little bit of everything for Tustin, playing safety, running back inside and outside linebacker.
Last fall, he helped the Tillers to the CIF-SS title, and is hoping with the squad they have returning, another trip to Angel Stadium, and another CIF title, are in the future.
"We're really working hard as a team, and we're going to be ready for spring ball and team camp," said Tandy.
Tandy said he's gotten stronger than he's ever been, in his offseason workouts.
"My bench press is 375, my squat is 485, my clean is 355 and my jerk is 305 and I'm running a 4.56 forty, hand timed," said Tandy.
Academically, Tandy has a 3.3 and will take the SAT on June 2nd.
