Most schools like Steele as a defensive linemen, including all three schools who've offered him, but Oregon State, Steele said, likes him on offense.
"Oregon State likes me as a guard or center," said Steele. "I prefer defensive line because I'm more comfortable there, but I'm open to anything."
Steele has plans to take in a couple of camps this summer.
"I'm going to the UCLA lineman camp and then the Fresno State camp," said Steele. "And I'm going to the Nike Camp on Sunday (in Oakland)."
Steele said he's wide open, with no favorites.
"Everyone is equal right now for me," said Steele. "I just want to see what all of my options are."
Steele has a 2.8 and took the SAT, scoring a 1270.
