"I was hopeful I would come out here and do well. My teammate, Viane Talamaivao, got the OL MVP at Cerritos in April so I was motivated to come out and try and do the same. I couldn't let him be the only Husky lineman to get the MVP and to get the invite for The Opening just made things even better."
"I'm going up to Boise State to watch a summer practice for sure," Hunt said. "I'll probably do a few more but not sure exactly where yet. My original plan was to make my decision in the summer before our first game but I'm not sure about that now.
"I really don't know where I'm at right now with the process so I don't want to rush anything. I'll still definitely do it during our season but I think I might take a couple of official visits first before I commit anywhere. I just want to play things by ear and when I feel I'm ready, that's when I'll make my decision."
As for what he's looking for in a school, Hunt listed several factors.
"First is where I fit in the most and feel comfortable," Hunt said. "Academics are important of course so that plays a role and the relationship with the coaches and players is huge for me as well.
"I'm also a very competitive person and I come from a program that is used to winning. I'm looking for that in college as well. I want to compete for league titles and play for a program that has a chance to win big. Finding that winning atmosphere is really important to me."
