Four Stand Out for Moore

Fresno (Calif.) Central cornerback L.J. Moore had a solid showing in Oakland for the NorCal NIKE Camp and said he's strongly considering four schools at the moment.,,

L.J. Moore is a big time athlete with good size and skill. He didn't have his best performance as we've seen him lock opposing receivers up and he allowed more catches than the norm for him but his upside is readily apparent.

On the recruiting front, Moore has offers from schools coast to coast and said he plans to take his time with his recruitment and do all his official visits before making a decision.

"I'm in no hurry," Moore said. "I want to do my visits and decide close to Signing Day. I'm still open to a lot of schools but the four that stand out are Georgia, UCLA, California and Notre Dame. I think those four will be in it until the end for sure.

"Notre Dame is the one school that me, Johnny Johnson and Hatari Byrd all plan to visit together. Oklahoma is another school that we've talked about visiting together but it's not 100% or anything."

Moore said there are a few specific things he's looking for in a school.

"The scheme of the defense and how I fit in with that defense will be really important," Moore said. "Location doesn't matter, I'll go anywhere. I'm looking to play early as well. If the school is loaded with DBs and I still like it the best, I'll still go there but I do want a chance to compete right away."
