The nation's No. 2 center drastically altered his recruiting timetable and now will have a decision out of a final six schools by the end of June.

Khaliel Rodgers of Eastern Christian Academy (Elkton, Md.) trimmed his list to Auburn, Ohio State, West Virginia, UCLA, Mississippi and Connecticut, and he will unveil his choice June 30.

"I don't know if there will be (a ceremony) or I'll just let everybody know," Rodgers said. "It took a long evaluation of talking with coaches, and these are places I've been or I want to go and visit. I've looked them up and they are places I could see myself being at."

The 6-foot-1, 300-pound Rodgers added the schools are not in any order, and he plans on visiting many of them before making his decision.

He also gave a breakdown of each finalist, and it was done in alphabetical order.

"I visited Auburn last year and it's just an amazing place. The coaching staff is amazing. Coach (Gene) Chizek is amazing. They have a good thing going on down there. I know a lot of the players, I've been there a lot, and I can't wait to visit again.

"I'm going down there again in mid June."

"They were the first school to offer and I talk to coach (Paul) Pasqualoni all the time. They are one of the schools I keep in contact with the most. I talk to the head coach and he's a great coach. It's a great staff, I've been up there before and I'm visiting again when I am up there with my team for a 7-on-7.

"The facilities are amazing. It's a great school overall."

Ole Miss:
"Out of all the schools, it's one that is the most family (oriented). I like (offensive line) coach (Matt) Luke. I talk to them all the time and I'm definitely going there for a visit. It's very good."

Ohio State :
"Right now, (a visit) is still on hold. I'm trying to get a confirmed date, and most likely it's going to happen. They have a great coaching staff, and I can't wait to visit. It's a traditional school and I can't wait to visit."

"I've been to UCLA two times. The first time I went to UCLA it was with the old coaching staff, and I really didn't feel like it was home over there. When I came to visit again, they had a new coaching staff and I just fell in love with the new coaching staff. I saw them practice, they hit hard. That's a place I can see myself being at.

"(Offensive line) coach Adrian Klemm is one of the greatest coaches I've met. It's just an amazing place."

West Virginia:
"West Virginia is one of the first schools to see my talent. I have a great relationship with (assistant) coach (Daron) Roberts. He's my recruiting coach, and I talked to coach (Dana) Holgorsen, and he's a great guy. I was supposed to visit earlier, but they've been kind of busy there. I'm definitely going to visit there."
