Daniels to Narrow List in Summer

The Oakley (Calif.) Freedom four-star receiver, Darrell Daniels, will narrow his list down to five schools in summer...

Oakley (Calif.) Freedom receiver Darrell Daniels (6-3, 200), has his pick of offers that cover much of the country.

The fifth-ranked receiver nationally has offers from Arizona State, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Michigan, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Oregon, Oregon State, UCLA, USC, Utah, Vanderbilt, Washington, Washington State and Nevada.

But by summer, Daniels plans to narrow it down quite a bit.

"I'm feeling good about the offers I have," said Daniels. "In June or July, I'll have my top five schools."

While Daniels isn't ready to name those five, there are two Pac-12 schools he's certain will be in there.

"Washington and USC definitely will be in my top five," said Daniels. "The other three are who I have to decide on."

Daniels said with the offers he's received, he's not really expecting any new ones, content with his options at this point.

"I think I pretty much have all the ones I want," said Daniels. "Now I just need to start narrowing it down."

Daniels said he's not in any hurry to pick a school when he narrows it down to five, and will likely wait out the process before committing somewhere.

"I want to take all of my official visits and then I want to put my hat on to decide," said Daniels.
