Judge Has Good Feel for UCLA

Oaks Christian High School in Westlake Village, California, continues to produce elite football prospects year after year, and one of the headliners of this year's group is linebacker Cameron Judge.

The four-star linebacker already holds double-digit offers from schools like: UCLA, Nebraska, Utah, Boise State, Duke, Boston College, Vanderbilt, Texas A&M, Oregon State, Washington State and Minnesota.

With plenty of options to choose from, Judge says his goal is to find a school with strong academics, as well as football.

"I'm looking for good academics of course because in case football doesn't workout you always have a backup," said Judge. "Then just a nice environment where I can feel at home for four years."

The 6-2, 215-pound linebacker plans to take his time during the recruiting process, but he did reveal one school that will certainly be in the mix.

"I haven't really narrowed down my list too much but one school that will definitely be in my top is UCLA," said Judge.

So what makes the Bruins so attractive?

"I have been down to their campus a bunch," Judge said. "My friend Jordan Payton, he is one of my best friends, he is going there so I have been down to the school with him and just have a good feel for the school."

He also has a good feel for the new coaching staff.

"I have been talking to Coach (Adrian) Klemm, (Jeff) Ulbrich and I have talked to (Jim) Mora a couple of times," Judge said. "I really like them and I think they are going to do good things there."

Judge has been focused on offseason workouts with his teammates lately but said he will start planning unofficial visits for July.
