Morris Set for Decision

Memphis (Tenn.) East offensive lineman Christian Morris is planning to make an early summer decision and said six schools stand out right now...

Christian Morris, the 6-6, 285-pounder, is one of the top lineman in the South and will participate in The Opening on the Nike campus in July. He earned OL MVP honors following the NIKE Camp in Memphis and is a very intriguing tackle prospect with a nice upside to him.

On the recruiting front, Morris, ranked the #24 offensive tackle nationally, said he's planning to commit sometime in July but will still do official visits in the fall.

"My schools right now are UCLA, Nebraska, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Clemson," Morris said. "I've already visited Tennessee and Mississippi State and will visit UCLA next week.

"My plan is go to The Opening and then when I come home, discuss everything with my parents. I'll make a decision shortly after The Opening but then I still want to take all my official visits to the other schools on my list."

Analyst's Opinion: The feeling is UCLA is the team to beat right now but he still wants to take visits after he makes his decision so it's a long way until Signing Day.
