Enewally Takes In UCLA Camps

The Cerritos (Calif.) Gahr defensive back, Patrick Enewally, worked at a couple of positions at the UCLA camp...

Cerritos (Calif.) Gahr safety Patrick Enewally (6-1.5, 191), has seven offers, but a camp last week and one this weekend has Enewally thinking more could be close.

"I went to the UCLA camp and I felt it was pretty competitive and a great experience," said Enewally. "They told me to call them this week and they'd let me know where I stand."

Enewally said he spent time at both corner and safety at the request of secondary coach Demetrice Martin.

"I talked with Coach (Jim) Mora and Coach Martin and they liked me and wanted me to do reps at both corner and safety. Most of my work was at safety, but they just want me as a defensive back," said Enewally.

This week, Enewally is headed to Seattle to camp at Washington, a school that has had some good success at Gahr the past couple of years.

"I think Washington could be close and I'm going there for their Rising Stars camp," said Enewally. "Gahr is kind of like a UDub school, with Josh Perkins and Dwayne Washington. If they offered, that would be big. They really just want me to come up and see the campus."

In addition to the Bruins and Huskies, and his seven offers, Duke and Boise State are also showing interest in Enewally.
