*Encino (Calif.) Crespi defensive back Tyler Foreman says UCLA and California are recruiting him the hardest and he said he'll definitely take an official visit to Oklahoma. Foreman recently camped with USC and is still hoping an offer will come in the near future.
*Mission Hills (Calif.) Alemany wide out Steven Mitchell had a big day on Saturday and was among the top three receivers at the event. Fellow USC commit Max Browne is his quarterback for the week and Mitchell said the two have already developed some great chemistry together.
*Los Alamitos (Calif.) offensive lineman Alex Redmond said he thought he struggled a bit Saturday saying he was over anxious, got sped up and his technique suffered badly as a result. The Oregon commit said he's still buzzing about his recent decision and said the biggest reason in his decision was the Ducks attention to detail and the improvements they'll make in him athletically.
*Fresno (Calif.) Central defensive back Hatari Byrd said he plans to make his decision next month and has narrowed his list down to UCLA, Oklahoma, California, Washington, Notre Dame and Georgia. He'll visit the Huskies at the end of the month and will still take a few of his official visits during the season. Byrd added the Bruins and Sooners are his top two right now.
*Lovejoy (Ga.) tight end Arshad Jackson is a strong Auburn lean but said he still wants to take official visits to UCLA and Florida State. Jackson said his interest in the Bruins stems from his relationship with UCLA QB commit Eddie Printz and the Noles are a school he has always followed. Tigers still will be very tough to beat here.
*Brentwood Academy (Tenn.) defensive back Jalen Ramsey said he's down to Auburn, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Tennessee, USC, Vanderbilt and Washington and he'll visit the Huskies early next week. There is some buzz going around The Opening that Ramsey could commit as early as mid-July and even more buzz that the Trojans could be the team to beat right now.
*Memphis (Tenn.) East offensive lineman Christian Morris has had a good week of practice and has a nice upside to him due to his length and athleticism. The lineman recently narrowed his decision down to UCLA and Nebraska and the buzz is the Bruins could get a commitment as early as next week.
*Orange (Calif.) Orange Lutheran offensive lineman John Lopez, took a ton of reps in the one-on-ones and has shows a lot more aggressiveness in the past few months than at any other time. He still needs to get quicker, especially in his ‘get off' but he's going in the right direction and he has a chance to be a player. He reportedly was close to committing to UCLA, but UCLA wasn're prepared to accept his commitment, so he's now saying UCLA and Washington are his leaders and he'll wait until August.
