San Clemente's Sean Harlow has reeled in offers from coast to coast and will soon narrow his list as he looks to take at least three official visits this fall. The talented O-lineman says he would've liked to commit early, but thinks it would be good to take a second look at a few different schools. So, who will be on that list?

"I'm still trying to figure it out and narrow it down a bit," he said. "I still have a little bit of time to wait and see if anymore schools are going to show interest but I'm going to narrow it down to four or five soon," he added.

"Definitely Nebraska, Boise State, Oregon State, UW, and UCLA," he stated. "That's five schools that I'm really focused on right now and thinking about revisiting. I still might check out a few more over the summer like Cal, Wisconsin, and schools like that.

"I don't think I'll have enough time to take all five (official) visits," said Harlow. "I'm thinking that I'll take three and by that time I'll have a good idea of which three schools that I'm interested in revisiting most."

So, what does he like about each of those five schools in particular?

Nebraska - "Great program, great tradition, and they have two great O-line coaches. You can't really beat their facilities and they have a great atmosphere."

Boise State - "It was definitely a lot better than I expected. There were no potato fields or anything like that. Boise is actually a really nice city. Coach Strausser is a great coach and they put something like nine guys in the league just last year. They're always competitive and top ten in the nation."

Oregon State - "I have a great relationship with Coach Cav. He was really the first coach that I ever spoke to going back to last year. Coach Riley is also a great guy and a good coach too."

Washington - "They're rebuilding everything up there. I think that's cool. They're going to have great facilities soon as well. It might offer a good chance to play early too."

UCLA - "I sat down with Coach Mora and he talked about his philosophy. He says he knows what's wrong and how to fix it. He thinks he can make them into a Pac-12 powerhouse."

He went on to say that recruiting is great, but he's simply trying to focus on summer workouts and getting ready for his senior season.

"Last week was the first week of summer conditioning," said Harlow. "I'm trying to focus on that right now. So far so good...a lot of lifting, running, and working on technique until fall camp starts next month."

"We'll definitely be competitive this year," he said. "We lost a lot of guys and it'll be a challenge, but some of the young guys will just have to step up. We'll definitely be contenders this year."

Harlow is a three-year starter and will certainly be the captain of the O-line this season.

"I'm a three year starter now," he said. "I've got big shoes to fill, but definitely look at myself as captain of the O-line," he added.
