"It's going well, I'm adjusting just fine," Hollins said. "I know a lot of people are saying I can't cover or drop but that's just because they haven't seen me do it. It's a little weird I guess but I like to say, the absence of evidence isn't evidence for absence so I'm just going to have to show everyone."
Hollins actually committed to UCLA sight unseen but was able to make it out to campus a week ago.
"I loved it there, I was surprised it was so nice," Hollins said. "I mean I knew it would be nice but I didn't know the people would be so welcoming. I had this idea of the players and people being all Hollywood but they treated me like family and were great.
"The campus was beautiful and a lot easier to get around. You can get anywhere in 15 minutes and I really liked the Victorian style buildings and the Gothic style there, I just didn't expect it to be that nice. I thought it would feel like a huge city but it felt like a cool college town to me."
"My parents though it would be good if I saw some schools just for the experience," Hollins said. "Washington is one school I'll probably visit and Boise State looks good too. I also definitely want to check out Notre Dame, I've heard so much about their tradition and how nice it is there.
"I like UCLA a lot though, I'm really strong with them. I connected well with all the players there and they really took me in. I like the coaches a lot and I think they're an up and coming program and I'm excited to be a part of it."
