Freeman Arrives on Final Five

The nation's #46-ranked prospect, Allerik Freeman, has five programs he'll concentrate on in recruiting...

Allerik Freeman, the 6-4 guard who will play at Henderson (Nev.) Findlay Prep this fall, looked good at Adidas Nations over the weekend, and especially liked playing with talent around him.

"We're stacked at every position," Freeman said. "We have great point guards, our wings can shoot it, our guards can handle, our bigs can finish and rebound. We're playing together and when we play how we want to - when we go up and down - no one can touch us."

adidas Nations is one last opportunity for Freeman to keep his mind off recruiting for a while, because he's getting close to taking the next step in his college decision making process.

Freeman's final five is Kansas, Ohio State, Villanova, UCLA and Duke, and he's about ready to start taking visits.

"I'll take my officials in the fall after September 1st and I'll go from there," Freeman said. "All five schools are recruiting me very hard. I'll take my officials and see where everything goes.

"I want to go somewhere I can impact the team I'm on. I don't want to go somewhere that doesn't have a need for me. My family is a big part of my decision. Wherever my family thinks is best for me to grow as a person, man and basketball player, that's where I'll go to."
