Wilson Names Top Four, In Order

Culver City (Calif.) wideout Julius Wilson took an unofficial visit to San Diego State last week and plans to make a trip out to San Bernardino...

It's a pretty solid year for receivers out West and Julius Wilson is definitely one of the top players in the region. He has explosive speed and quickness, is a pure route runner and has excellent hands as well.

San Diego State was one of the first schools to offer and Wilson said he really enjoyed his visit.

"I loved everything about it," Wilson said. "The coaching staff was great with me, I liked the area and the environment, the campus is real nice, it's a pretty good school academically and the offense is pretty receiver friendly. Overall, I had a really nice time and felt very comfortable there.

"I'm planning to go watch UCLA practice tomorrow in San Bernardino. I heard it's hot up there but I want to check them out. Right now, my top four, in order are UCLA, San Diego State, Washington and Washington State and I plan to do official visits to each of them."

Wilson said he hasn't set up any official dates yet but would like to take his trips during the season.

"I want to take at least two or three of them during the season so I can see what the game atmosphere is like," Wilson said. "It just depends on what our schedule is like but that's what I'm hoping to do. The rest will be after the season and I plan to make my decision whenever I know it. I won't drag it out, as soon as I know where I want to go, I'll go ahead and end this."
