Corona (Calif.) Centennial offensive lineman Cameron Hunt was on hand at the inaugural CIF Southern Section Media Day to represent the Huskies and talk about their televised August 31st season opener versus Ventura (Calif.) St. Bonaventure.

"It's a great honor, especially to represent all the people before me at Centennial. We're really excited about the season, just to get it kicked off," he said.

The talented lineman committed to California in July and has maintained a solid relationship with the Bears coaching staff.

"I have a great relationship with Coach [Jeff] Tedford and Coach [Jim] Michalczik. They are some of the best guys out there," he said.

Recently, Hunt landed an offer from UCLA, a team he had been high on earlier in the recruiting process.

"Right now, I'm still committed to Cal. I'm just going to play it slow, kind of see how the teams play it out this year. See how Cal does, see how UCLA does. I'm definitely going to make my decision by the end of the year. It's a work in progress," he said.

Hunt plans to take official visits to Cal, UCLA, and Arizona State.
