One of the biggest matchups in the country had UCLA commit Myles Jack taking control on defense, and making some key plays on offense, helping Bellevue outlast Euless Trinity in overtime. Jack ran for 118 yards on five carries and a touchdown, including a 66-yard score and a nine-yard run that set up the go-ahead touchdown in offense. But it was his play on defense that swung the game in the Wolverines favor. Jack had double-digit tackles and two sacks, none bigger than his sack in the final minute of regulation that stalled Trinity's drive, and knocked out the starting quarterback. The backup quarterback came in and threw an interception on Trinity's first play in overtime, giving the Wolverines the win.
